The OPPO Reno 9 series has been in the rumour mills for a while now and ahead of its launch in China this 24 November, OPPO has confirmed several of the lineup’s specs. Taking to its official Weibo account, the Chinese tech firm revealed the imaging capabilities of the Reno 9 series.
In the post, OPPO shared several posters regarding the series’ camera setup. For the front-facing camera, the Reno 9 series is getting a 32MP selfie camera with auto-focus.
Meanwhile, at its rear, the series is getting a 50MP main camera which OPPO claims can provide better performance in low light. Moreover, the rear main camera would also support optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Besides that, the Reno 9 series will also sport the company’s dual-core portrait computing engine, the MariSilicon chip. The MariSilicon chip was first unveiled by OPPO in 2021 and it’s an NPU that would provide enhanced photography capabilities.
Unfortunately, the full specs of the lineup will only be unveiled during its launch later this month. So, what do you guys think of the Reno 9 series? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more tech news such as this.
