Joining the OPPO Reno series as a mid-range device is the OPPO Reno Z. Instead of the infamous shark fin pop up selfie camera on the front, this device rocks a waterdrop notch instead. Other than that, the design of the device remains the same as the other Reno devices and comes with some cool features and tech specs.

The OPPO Reno Z is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset, a 6.4 inch AMOLED display with HD+ support, 6GB RAM + upto 256GB internal storage (non-expandable) and in-display fingerprint reader and a 3960mAh battery capacity with 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge support via type-C. It features a dual rear camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor and 5MP (depth) sensor. Meanwhile, the selfie camera housed in the waterdrop notch is a cool 32MP. The device is released in 2 colours: Ocean Green and Jet Black.

Pricing-wise, this device is actually reasonably priced in Europe at 190 Euro (~RM891). No word of a Malaysia release date or a Malaysia price for the device but we do hope that this phone actually makes it to our shores (with the same price tag, of course). The OPPO Reno was launched here in Malaysia with the same chipset but with a bigger price tag. So what do you think of the OPPO Reno Z?
