OPPO Reno5 4G remains the same chipset as its previous predecessor OPPO Reno4 ?

OPPO Reno5 series finally will be launching this week in China and it is unveiled that all the models in China will support 5G. As for the global markets, there will still be a 4G version for the OPPO Reno5 variants which was found on recent certifications previously and today, the key features for the 4G version have been revealed.

According to @TheLeaks on twitter, the OPPO Reno5 4G will be equipped with a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate display. As for the chipset, it seems to be a little bit disappointing because It will sport a Snapdragon 720G chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that is the same as its previous predecessor the OPPO Reno4.

In terms of cameras, it will be equipped with a quad-camera setup on the rear compromising a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide angle camera, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP black and white portrait lens whereas, on the front, it will come with a 44MP selfie camera. It has a 4310mAh battery that supports up to 50W fast charging which is an upgrade from the previous 30W fast charging.

Either way, OPPO has not officially announced the tech specs and the release date for the global version of the OPPO Reno5 4G variant yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com.
