It seems that a user on weibo recently posted on their account stating that there will be a new Reno 5 series smartphone to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. While not much is known in regards to the released date, our source did mention that it will most likely be called the Reno5k and it’ll come equipped with 8GB + 128GB storage capacity and it’ll be priced at RMB2499 (~RM1563).

Other than the chipset and storage configuration mentioned above, it seems that the smartphone in question will come with a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz display and a 4300mAh battery and a 65W fast charging. In terms of camera, it has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP rear camera while the front has a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.

However, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that OPPO has yet to provide an official statement regarding the leaks. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
