As revealed earlier this month, OPPO will be releasing the OPPO Reno7 series here in Malaysia. It was later confirmed that OPPO Malaysia will also unveil the OPPO Watch Free and OPPO Enco Air 2 here. But today, let's take at the Reno7 5G and Reno7 Pro 5G that is officially available in Malaysia.
As expected, the OPPO Reno7 5G comes with the Dimensity 900 chipset, 8GB RAM (+5GB virtual RAM), and 256GB of internal storage. It's a decent mid-range device that's targeted at selfie lovers, with a new Bokeh Flair Portrait Video feature that allows you to add Bokeh effect even on videos. This feature applies to both the front camera and the main camera. The OPPO Reno7 5G retails in Malaysia for RM1999.
The OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G has all that standard variant's cool features but adds more in terms of specs. This model comes with the Dimensity 1200 chipset, 12GB of RAM (+7GB virtual RAM), and 256GB of internal storage. What stands out for this model is its design, as it has flat sides and back that give it a more elegant look. The Reno7 Pro also has a slightly better 64MP front camera. This model will come with an RM2999 price tag.
With the release of the OPPO Reno7 series, OPPO Malaysia will also be including some pre-order goodies worth up to RM1406. From 22 February to 4 March, those who purchase a Reno7 5G or Reno7 Pro 5G will get a free Enco Buds, OPPO Reno bag, member privileges, and a 1-year extended damage warranty.
