OPPO Reno8 Z 5G Malaysia release: SD 695 SoC, 6.4-inch AMOLED display and 64MP triple-camera at RM1799

OPPO Malaysia during an event today launched the OPPO Reno8 Z 5G in our country. Another variant of the Reno8 series (which includes the Reno8 and Reno8 Pro), the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. 

Like other OPPO devices, the Reno8 Z 5G supports virtual RAM extension which utilises the device’s storage. For this particular smartphone, you can expand up to 5GB of RAM from the 256GB storage; the sole variant that the Reno8 Z 5G is available in.

Besides that, the device sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. As for the battery, it packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. 

In terms of imaging, the Reno8 Z 5G packs a 64MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP Macro triple-camera setup. As for the front-facing camera, it sports a 16MP shooter.

The Reno8 Z 5G is available in two colour options - Black and Dawnlight Gold and is priced in Malaysia at RM1799 for the sole 8/256GB variant. The device is available for purchase beginning tomorrow (26 August 2022) with OPPO offering free gifts worth up to RM997 for the device’s first sale purchase. 

These include TWS earbuds (RP: RM109) and MY OPPO Memebers’ Privileges worth up to RM888. Purchases can be made at all My OPPO Space stores, OPPO Brand Stores, OPPO Official Online Store, Telco Partners, E-comm partners and our Chain-store partners. 

Moreover, in celebration of the device’s launch, OPPO is also throwing a Portrait Carnival from now until 31 August 2022 at Legel G, Sunway Velocity. Customers who purchase the Reno8 Z 5G at the POrtrait Carnival will take home free gifts worth up to RM438. These include a free TWS earbuds worth RM109, a hotel voucher worth RM250 and a power bank worth RM79. The offer doesn’t end there either as you will also receive extra free gifts by participating in all the carnival’s challenges.
