OPPO Watch 4 Pro release - New smartwatch features ECG and a few internal upgrades

OPPO has been active as of late. The company has released the new OPPO Watch 4 Pro alongside the Find N3 Flip foldable. That said, what should you know about this smartwatch?

For your information, this is the latest top-tier smartwatch from OPPO. It also retains a majority of the same design as its predecessor but with a minor twist. Instead of aluminium, the body is made of stainless steel. Unlike the Watch 3 Pro, this watch features a brushed finish and a ridge on the side.

In addition, this device features a curved 1.91-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 396×378. It also sports a 3D glass cover for better protection against scratches and so forth. You might notice the physical bezels and rotating crown on the side. Interestingly, you can activate certain features on this smartwatch by clenching your fist.

Moreover, this device runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a BES 2700 secondary co-processor for casual purposes. It also runs 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. That is an upgrade compared to its predecessor (1GB).

Thanks to the improved 570mAh battery, this watch could last 5 days in normal mode and up to 14 days under light mode. On top of that, this watch comes with a built-in Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi support, and GPS. The best part? It will only take you 10 minutes for a full charge.

Interestingly, you can also monitor your health through this watch’s optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, thermometer, and electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor. Plus, you can keep track of your workouts with over 100 sports modes. Going for a swim? The Watch 4 Pro is rated at 5ATM for water resistance, so swim away.

The price for the Watch 4 Pro starts from CNY2300 (~RM1462) for the black version. On the other hand, the brown model features two straps and it could cost you CNY2500 (~RM1590). As of now, we have yet to confirm other details on this device and its availability for the international market.
