OPPO has announced that a new smartphone will be launched on 6 May. The upcoming OPPO K9 might be a smartphone that is gaming-centric according to some hints in the teaser poster. Now, let's take a look at what are the tech specs that would be included in the upcoming OPPO device.
The OPPO K9 has been confirmed to feature 65W fast charge technology. Its teaser poster comes with a slogan that claims the device can offer two hours of gaming with just 5 minutes of charging time. The poster also revealed that the OPPO K9 will be using a 64MP main sensor for the triple rear camera setup. For the design, the words "09-K Super Performance" are printed at the back which gives the device a gaming smartphone vibe.
For now, it is still unclear which chipset will power the smartphone. However, the source guesses that either Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 or MediaTek's Dimensity 1100 would be used. Besides the OPPO K9, the company will also be launching new wireless earbuds OPPO Enco Air on the same day.
