OPPO has finally confirmed that the upcoming Find X5 series will utilize Hasselblad cameras. It does not come as a surprise as the leaked images of the Find X5 Pro have been showing the Swedish photography brand printed on the camera module.

For now, it's unsure what kind of camera features the devices will get from the collaboration. OPPO's sub-brand, OnePlus, has also worked with Hasselblad for the OnePlus 9 Pro. However, it is only limited to colour calibration and camera interface design. It remains to be seen if the Find X5 series will get additional Hasselblad image tuning.

As rumours suggest, Find X5 would use a Sony IMX766, a 50MP and 1/1.56-inch sensor with 1.0 µm pixels, for the primary and ultra-wide cameras. Meanwhile, the telephoto module will use a 13MP sensor with 5x optical zoom. OPPO's self-developed MariSilicon X NPU chip will also be part of the equation handling image processing and the omnidirectional autofocus system.
