Just a week after the arrival of the OPPO Reno6 5G and Reno6 Z 5G in Malaysia, OPPO Malaysia just announced the Reno6 Pro 5G will be coming soon as well. While they are tight-lipped on the release date, we have a good feeling that we will be seeing it sometime this month.
In case you didn't know, there is actually a Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+ variant in China but we think that we will only be getting the former. Both pro variants are quite similar as well, but the difference is the Reno6 Pro is using a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset whereas the Reno6 Pro+ comes with a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset.
Besides that, the Reno6 Pro features a 6.55-inch dual-curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution and a 4500mAh battery with a 65W flash charge technology. The camera setup is similar to the standard Reno6, but featuring a 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (portrait) quad-rear camera module. The front camera is still 32MP.
In the Chinese market, the Reno6 Pro's starting price is from 3499 Yuan (~RM2200) for the 8GB + 128GB while the 12GB + 256GB cost 3799 Yuan (~RM2484). We might get two variants here in Malaysia but we shall wait and see. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
