Just a few hours ago, OPPO shared yet another interesting foldable phone concept on their Twitter page. We previously reported about this and the new render images just completely disapprove the rumours. However, this is just a concept so it might not be finalized at the end of the day but let's check the images out.
According to OPPO, they have actually made two new design concepts for the "slide-phone". Sporting a triple-hinge foldable mechanic, this is unlike anything we have seen and the company said this allows the user the change the phone size accordingly to any situation. OPPO is working closely with nendo, a Japanese design studio on this concept.
The concept of ‘slide-phone’ is that smartphone users are using their phone to interact with the world around them more, yet the devices are often too large in size.

A secondary fold reveals 80mm of the slide-phone screen, ideal for taking photos or even adapting to particular games using the side control. #OPPOxnendo pic.twitter.com/XUj9Qaaemn

From the images, OPPO explained that the first sliding concept would measure 40mm of the display and the notification display outside will show the usual notifications, call history and music player. For the secondary sliding, it reveals the 80mm display and they said this is ideal for taking photos or playing mobile games.
I gotta say, this looks really funky in design but not sure if it would be practical in usage or not. Either way, this is just a concept for now but what do you folks think? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
