Not long ago, it was reported that iQOO would be introducing the first device that supports a 200W fast charging technology. If you think that's already impressive, new information arrives and claims OPPO is launching one with an even higher 240W charging capacity.
According to a report, a smartphone manufacturer will introduce a 240W-supported device. Although it didn't mention any name, we still know that it's OPPO as it only presented the charging technology this February. The company's fast charging solution is claimed to be capable of charging up a 4,500mAh battery in only 9 minutes.
2022 might finally be the year for smartphone makers to cross the limit of the current fast-charging standard. 200W sounded like a crazy technology back then, but it seems like it's becoming realistic with these companies rumoured to make it commercially available.
