Based on a statement by OPPO on their weibo account, it seems that they will be unveiling the OPPO Reno5 on 10 December 2020. While not much is known in regards to the exact tech specs of the smartphone, we do know that the Reno5 series will consist of the Reno5, Reno5 Pro, as well as the Reno5 Pro Plus.
In terms of the tech specs, rumour had it that the smartphones will come equipped with either a Snapdragon 765G, Snapdragon 865, or a Dimensity 1000+ chipset, up to 6.55-inch 90Hz display, as well as up to 4500mAh internal battery that supports 65W fast charging. Not only that, the series has up to a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP rear camera while the front has a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.
However, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that OPPO has yet to provide an official statement on the leaked info. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date and local pricing of the smartphone in question for now.
