You've probably noticed that a lot of smartphone companies make more than smartphones these days. A lot of Chinese manufacturers have been branching out and OPPO has followed suit in recent months. The company received 3C certifications for new Smart TVs recently too, which means that they may be launched soon.
According to Gizchina, OPPO will start by launching 55-inch and 65-inch 4K Smart TVs. Interestingly enough, the 3C records show that there are 10 variants for each model. However, it's unknown what the differences between the variants would be. The only thing that was revealed was that the 55-inch model uses 130W, while the 65-inch model uses 190W.

Allegedly, OPPO's Vice President did write a letter to some OPPO partners in China lately, shedding some light on its plans for Smart TVs. In the letter, he said that OPPO aims to inspire users to think of Smart TVs as more than a substitute for traditional TVs. To do that, OPPO will probably incorporate technologies like 5G connectivity and advance audio features. After all, OPPO has experience with high-end headphones.
