Besides the OPPO Find X8 series launch today, OPPO also shared its commitment to bringing its products and services to users worldwide. This requires companies to have a robust supply chain, delivery system, retail resellers, and more.

According to Billy Zhang, OPPO Sales and Services President of Overseas Marketing Sales, understanding local communities is equally important. OPPO now operates in over 70 countries and regions, with over 300000 retail locations globally. This has allowed OPPO to climb to No.4 in global smartphone shipments. An estimated 60% of OPPO's products are sold outside of China.

For OPPO, Southeast Asia (SEA) is a core market where the brand aims to maintain its top position. To show how it has been leveraging local channels, OPPO even brought selected media to tour its stores in Indonesia. Currently, the company owns an experience store and gallery in Jakarta to showcase its products.

In particular, the experience store has a self-developed wireless security system. It enhances the in-store experience by enabling seamless and secure interactions with products, producing an immersive shopping experience.

OPPO also has a smart manufacturing centre located in Tangerang, Indonesia. This centre is also the company's second-largest overseas manufacturing centre. Completed in 2022, the Tangerang manufacturing centre spans 100000 square metres. It boasts a 5-day turnover rate from receiving material to product completion, making it the fastest of OPPO's overseas factories. Moreover, 99% of its employees are locals, showing the company's commitment to supporting local economies.

In the future, OPPO is expected to replicate such efforts in select countries and regions. There are already OPPO Brand Stores in Malaysia, so maybe a factory to provide jobs would be possible in the future? What do you think?
