As reported earlier this month, OPPO has already launched a new sub-brand called Realme and the new smartphone is just simply called Realme 1. At first, we thought it was just an OPPO A3 in disguise but that's not really the case, thanks to this latest leak from Twitter revealing the tech-specs.
For starters, the processor is confirmed to be a Helio P60 chipset by MediaTek. This mid-range tier hardware is quite respectable as it's able to run decently well on graphics intense games. Memory capacity is also a different one compared to the previous rumours, as it stands at 6GB of RAM instead of 4GB, same goes to the display at 6-inch only at 1080p Full HD+ resolution. Internal storage goes up to 128GB with an expandable memory available.

Then for the camera, the primary sensor is 13MP, assisted by a PDAF and 'depth effect' technology whereas the front holds an 8MP sensor with face unlock and portrait mode. To add on to that, since it has a face unlock already it's quite possible there won't be a fingerprint sensor since it wasn't mentioned at all. The battery juice inside is 3410mAh.
So what do you think of Realme 1? Should OPPO Malaysia give a shot here in Malaysia? Stay tuned for more OPPO news at TechNave.com.
