OPPO will be launching the fastest 125W SuperVOOC charger alongside with OPPO Find X3 Series next year!

OPPO has reveiled its largest fast charging speed which is the 125W SuperVOOC flash charger and the 65W wireless charger in July on Twitter. Since then, there are no further confirmation on when will it be launching. Today, a leakster Digital Chat Station finally disclosed that the 125W SuperVOOC flash charger will be launching in the first quarter of the year 2021.

As of now, the 125W SuperVOOC flash charger is consider the industry’s most powerful fast charging technology for smartphones. OPPO has made it possible by increasing the voltage to 20V while the maximum current drops to 6.25A. Besides, it also switch the cells from two 3C cells on the SuperVOOC 2.0 to two 6C cells alongside with parallel charge pumps and an integrated MCU (Microcontroller Unit) for better charging efficiency.

OPPO mentioned by using the 125W charger, it can charge up from 0% to 41% in just 5 minutes and fully charged in 20 minutes. The 125W charger also supports mainstream charging technologies like 65W Power Delivery and 125 Programmable Power Supply. As for safety issues, OPPO has added fuse overvoltage protection, Type-C to Type-C wire, 10 more temperature sensors has been added to monitor the charging status as well as 128-bit high-strength encryption algorithm.

Either way, there is still no official confirmation on the release dates, we assume it will release alongside with the new OPPO Find X3 series in Q1 next year.
