After Xiaomi, OPPO is also launching its robot dog during the OPPO INNO DAY on 14 December. The company has announced that it will present the OPPO QRIC that day as its first quadruped robot product.

In the announcement video, the OPPO QRIC robot dog appears to be more focused on being a child's companion. It does things like jumping, backflipping, lifting stuff and detecting falls. QRIC has a camera system as its face, which allows video calls. Furthermore, the cyber dog talks as well.

The upcoming OPPO QRIC will be a direct competitor to Xiaomi's CyberDog. To have a short recap on Xiaomi's offering, the machine uses the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX platform that includes 384 CUDA cores, 48 tensor cores, and 6 Carmel cores on the ARM. There are also two engines accelerating the processing of machine learning tasks. Besides that, the CyberDog is equipped with up to 11 high-precision sensors, such as touch sensors, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and GPS modules.
