If you happen to be a fan of OPPO, you would be glad to know that the company just announced the next ColorOS software update. Simply dubbed as ColorOS 12, it is revealed that this update will be released on 16 September 2021. That's just three more days and it will be launching in China first.

Not much is known about ColorOS 12 but it will definitely be using Android 12 as the backbone. Also, OPPO gave it a codename "Da Vinci" because it serves as an inspiration to the software in art, technology and science. ColorOS 12 is also said to be supporting smartwatches and an unannounced tablet, something that OPPO has been working on for the past few years as an ecosystem.

Moreover, ColorOS 12 may have a few features that function similarly to other operating systems such as Xiaomi MIUI and OnePlus OxygenOS.
