OnePlus yesterday teased fans with the first official image of its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G. Set to be released in the United States later this month, The Nord N20 is the successor to the Nord N10 which was quite successful in the region.

OnePlus also confirmed that the Nord N20 will feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a normal 60Hz refresh rate. There will also be a fingerprint scanner embedded under the display.

Shared to PCMag, the official image by OnePlus shows a dual-camera setup at its back and a punch-hole selfie camera on the top-left of the display at its front. However, no official specs were given by OnePlus just yet.

Speaking of the display, OnePlus also said that at the Nord N20’s selling price, the company alluded that it could only choose from a 60Hz AMOLED display or a 90Hz IPS display. The company opted for the former, as AMOLED offers low power consumption,  better contrast, more vivid colours and a wider colour gamut.

Besides that, OnePlus also confirmed that the Nord N20 will feature SuperVOOC fast charging, although its speed and battery capacity are yet to be revealed. The price also remains a mystery, though based on what has been revealed, the Nord N20 will have a competitive price in the budget segment.

What do you guys think of the Nord N20’s design? Would you get this phone if OnePlus made it available in Malaysia?
