While many are probably sceptical of how useful a smartphone with a swivelling mechanism can be, LG is all set to launch the new phone. The company has confirmed that its upcoming dual-screen phone will indeed be named 'WING'.
LG has announced that the LG WING will be launched under the Explorer Project, which is a new product category from LG. Devices under this category will all be experimental, to find new ways for users to interact with mobile devices. LG also said that the focus will be on the constantly evolving needs of mobile users and to challenge current norms. Since LG mentioned mobile devices, there may also be other types of devices like tablets.
In terms of tech specs, there's not much we know about the phone yet. But it has been said that the LG WING will be a 5G device with a Snapdragon 765G chipset. A previous leak also showed that the phone is likely to have an under-display camera, a 64MP main camera, and a price tag of around USD 1000 (~RM4149).
The LG Wing will be unveiled LG at 10 PM on 13 September (GMT+8) via the company's YouTube channel, so we'll find out more soon. With that said, are you interested to know more about this phone? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
