HONOR is set to unveil another variant of the HONOR 80 series in China next week, the HONOR 80 GT. Poised for a 26 December 2022 launch date, the company shared a teaser poster and video in conjunction with the upcoming release.

Taking to its official Weibo page, HONOR showed off the rear design of the HONOR 80 GT in a cosmic blue colour. Moreover, the camera module is different from both the HONOR 80 and HONOR 80 Pro, featuring a more elongated rectangle design with a triple-camera setup and an LED flash.

Meanwhile, on another teaser poster for the latest MagicOS version that would be released during the same event, the HONOR 80 GT was also present. Based on this poster, it looks like the device would have a flat design, though not as flat as the HONOR Pad V8 that also made an appearance in the poster.

HONOR has yet to reveal any details regarding the specs of the HONOR 80 GT, though rumours point to it being powered by a low-frequency version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and up to 16GB of RAM. Moreover, the device is touted to feature a 144Hz OLED Panel and a 54MP main camera.

Of course, do take the rumours with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Well, we just have to wait until 26 December to find out.
