Before we get our gaming mood on with the upcoming PS5, Sony has uploaded an official teardown video of the console today to excite us even further. The video has revealed all the internal hardware of the PS5 that makes it a big guy.

Before tearing down every piece, it looks like the white covers on both sides of the PS5 can be slid off easily. After taking out the covers, the large 120mm fan is revealed and we can't wait to experience the cooling performance that this beast has. Other than that, you can also find an SSD bay that lets you install your expandable storage and two dust catchers on the same surface.

Now, it's time to bring out the screwdriver! First, the vice president of the Mechanical Design Department takes out an Ultra-HD Blu-ray drive unit (for the dics version) that is mounted with two layers of insulators to reduce the drive noise and vibration. He then goes on to take out the motherboard of the console and reveals the powerful next-gen CPU itself, the 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and the custom SSD controller for the 825GB default SSD. Not to mention the AMD-made CPU is also covered by liquid metal as the thermal interface material that ensures “long-term” cooling performance.
