So regarding the odd vivo V7 pre-order sale news yesterday (because it doesn't have any price tag yet), we managed to find a leak from a local online vendor that the upcoming selfie snapper might cost RM1299 which seems to be the popular figure nowadays. It was shared by publicly on Facebook and although we can't be sure if the seller is legit, we will have to take this with a grain of salt.
Previously, when the V7+ was revealed, the price slapped on the device was RM1499, so RM1299 for the V7 doesn't seem very far-fetched, as the V7 is not that different from its elder brother. Afterall, the V7's 5.7-inch display size is only a mere 0.3-inch apart from the V7+, the internal storage is dropped to 32GB and same goes to the battery with 3000mAh. The rest of the tech-specs remains the same, especially the selling point - the 24MP front camera along with vivo's trademark, the Selfie Softlight.
Meanwhile, the so-called V7 pre-order page in vivo's official online store at Lazada is still not online yet for some reason. But it will probably come online when the company officially reveals the phone tomorrow. There's also an on-going Snap and Win contest for everyone, having a chance to win an AirAsia Travel Package worth RM777 and movie tickets as long as you take a selfie with a vivo ambassador cut-out stand at any vivo concept stores, then post it on your Facebook with the hashtag #V7HappyDay.
