Olympus Launches PEN E-P5 in Malaysia

Olympus recently launched the PEN E-P5, the latest in the PEN series of Micro 4/3s digital cameras. Offering a number of great features the E-P5 increases maximum shutter speed to 1/8000s for those bokeh shots on larger aperture lenses in daylight. A very efficient 5 axis stabilized takes care of most of the the vibrations that come with a slower shutter speed shot in dim light. The E-P5 can also shoot at 9 frames per second with built-in interval and time lapse features.

In terms of design, the E-P5 doesn't change much, which is good since the series already has a very good design in the first place. In addition to the E-P5's great performance, it also extends functionality through a WiFi tether so you can shoot and view it from your smartphone or tablet. This WiFi tether can also be used to upload to the cloud as well as download GPS data. If you tack on a manual focus lense on the E-P5 you can also use it to do focus peaking for a bit more control when focusing.
