Samsung does really care about its older devices. Alongside the launch of the One UI 4.1, the Korean tech giant has also brought some of the new camera features to older Galaxy smartphones. Now, let's read on to find out about what the features are and which of your Galaxy device will get them.

According to Samsung's community forums, features including Night Portrait, Pet recognition, Lighting position editing, Portrait video with the telephoto lens, and Improved Director's View are making their way to selected previous Galaxy devices. These include the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and Galaxy S20 FE. However, bear in mind that not all devices will get all the mentioned features.

Samsung has always been generous by letting older Galaxy devices' users experience the new features debuted with the latest flagship series. Recently, the company had also offered Object Eraser launched with the Galaxy S21 series to many older devices, and even the Galaxy A52 got it. Therefore, let's hope that Samsung will continue with this strategy and never make anything (the ones that don't require a hardware upgrade) exclusive to only the latest flagship.
