As more phones with core Google AI-powered features like Circle to Search appear, Samsung needs to do more to stay ahead in the AI game. And for the upcoming One UI 7, new features could include a notification summary.
According to a leaker, Galaxy AI now has a notification summary feature called "AI Notification". This feature was allegedly made available in One UI 7 for Galaxy AI users in Korea. When asked if the feature will be added to mid-range devices like the Galaxy A33 5G, the source denied it, implying that AI Notification will be limited to flagship Samsung devices.
Galaxy AI already has AI summary, so adding one for notifications should be simple
For those unaware, the notification summary is a feature that was said to be inspired by Apple Intelligence. According to Apple, this feature summarises "long or stacked notifications with key details right on the Lock Screen". iPhone and iPad users who are curious can test it by updating to iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1. If you have a Mac or MacBook, you can update that to macOS Sequoia 15.1 instead.
The AI Notification for Galaxy AI should support other languages eventually, so look forward to future One UI 7 updates. With that said, do you find such a feature useful? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
