OnePlus 10R & Nord CE 2 Lite 5G release: up to 150W SUPERVOOC charging speed, starting price from ~RM1137)

Today, OnePlus has finally revealed the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. In case you didn't catch up, the OnePlus 10R is essentially a OnePlus Ace in sheep's clothing that was released in China. Now, let's check out what these devices have to offer.

Since the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Ace are the same, here's a recap of the tech specs. The OnePlus 10R features a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset and it's exclusive to the brand. Paired with two memory variants - 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, you can find a 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) triple rear camera module design that looks familiar.

The 6.7-inch AMOLED display houses a 16MP front camera and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and it can be adjusted to either 60Hz or 90Hz depending on your preference. The touch sampling rate is insane, though, reaching up to 730Hz and even has a 3D Passive Cooling System in-built. However, its biggest highlight is the 150W SUPERVOOC charging technology for its 4500mAh battery. There's also another variant with 80W SUPERVOOC charging technology with a 5000mAh battery.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is sporting a Snapdragon 695, either a 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Moreover, the IPS LCD has increased in size featuring a 6.58-inches and now supports a 120Hz refresh rate as well. It also has the same front camera and its triple camera is a 64MP (main) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) setup. Last but not least, the 5000mAh battery supports 33W SUPERVOOC charging speed.

In terms of pricing, below is the estimated price tag after currency conversion:

  • OnePlus 10R (8GB + 128GB, 80W/5000mAh) - 38,999 Rupee (~RM2219)
  • OnePlus 10R (8GB + 256GB, 80W/5000mAh) - 42,999 Rupee (~RM2446)
