The OnePlus 12 will be revealed in less than 24 hours. But that does not stop everyone from speculating. Recently, the camera specs for the phone have been leaked. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the phone could feature an “industry-first” customised Sony LYT-808 main camera, with a 1/1.4-inch sensor. It could also utilise 50% more light compared to its predecessor. That means you are getting better and more consistent performance in low-light settings. Interestingly, OnePlus promises "remarkable details and clarity" for its camera performance.

In addition, this variant could sport a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and 120x "Hybrid Zoom". It could also feature the OmniVision OV64B 1/2-inch sensor with an f/2.6 aperture. Reportedly, the sensor used in this variant will be 76% larger compared to the IMX709 in the OnePlus 11.

Thanks to the HDR algorithm feature, OnePlus promises the phone can "replicate the interplay effects of natural lights and shadows" to deliver "breathtaking photos". Notably, the company says the new algorithm could understand what it sees. Plus, the Portrait mode gets an upgrade in additional focal lengths.

Moreover, the phone could sport the iconic Hasselblad style. It could also simulate the natural bokeh and flare effects of Hasselblad XCD 30, 65, and 90V lenses. The OnePlus 12 also has 1x to 3x Portrait Mode for a better user experience. This device offers Master Mode, the Pro Mode equivalent of other phones. Rumour says it supports 4K recording with Dolby Vision.

We have yet to confirm other tech specs or the Malaysia release date for the device. However, we could expect it to arrive soon. Interested? You might want to save up for it.
