As we’ve alluded to previously, OnePlus today released the highly anticipated OnePlus 13s in India. A compact 6.3-inch smartphone with top-of-the-line specs, read on to learn more about the device.
Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and 5850mAh battery in a 6.3-inch compact form factor
Under the hood, the 13s is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512GB of storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 5850mAh cell, which supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging and bypass via the USB-C port.
The large battery capacity is made even more impressive by the fact that the 13s has a 6.32-inch LTPO OLED display, which is compact in today’s standards. The screen also sports 1216x2640p resolution, 1 to 120Hz variable refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 32MP selfie shooter.
At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-700 shooter paired with a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto. Other notable specs include a customisable “Plus Key” button replacing the alert slider, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, AI features, the world's first independent WiFi chipset, dual SIM, an in-display fingerprint scanner and colour options of either Black Velvet, Pink Satin or Green Silk.
Pricing and availability
In India, the 13s starts at INR54999 or ~RM2713 and is now available for pre-order until 12 June. No word yet on whether the 13s will be released in other markets globally, or if so, whether it will use the same naming scheme.
