Well, it looks like the OnePlus 3T had been spotted on the SIRIM database, registered to local distributor, Brightstar. While the OnePlus 3T is no longer the latest device around, it is the slightly upgraded sequel to the original OnePlus 3 (which we reviewed here) that was launched in Malaysia back in August 2016. Though it is no secret that you can buy imported sets of the OnePlus 3T from some of the bigger local retailers, it sure is nice to finally have an option to purchase it officially.
Here’s a recap of the OnePlus 3T’s specifications:
- 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) AMOLED display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821
- 6GB RAM + 64GB or 128GB Internal Storage
- 16 MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with PDAF and 1.12µm pixel size
- 16MP front camera with 1.0µm pixel size
- 3400mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V4A) Quick Charging
- OxygenOS based on Android Nougat
So far, there have not been any official word regarding the pricing yet, as a reference, the OnePlus 3 was sold for RM1888. Do you think that it will still be priced as competitively?
