Rejoice, Malaysian OnePlus fans! The wait for the highly coveted Flagship Killer device, the OnePlus 5 could be coming to Malaysia very soon! Brightstar Malaysia, the widely known tech distributors have announced that they will be taking pre-orders for the flagship killer very soon through their official Facebook Page.
That’s right, the OnePlus 5 6 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM will retail at RM2388 inclusive of 6% GST whereas the 8 GB RAM, 128 GB ROM will retail at RM2688 inclusive of 6% GST. The 6 GB version will only available in Slate Gray whereas the 8 GB version will only be available in Midnight Black.
Hey, that’s pretty good considering the prices for AP models that have been circulating around online retailers which has been spotted to cost around RM2500-RM2800. Nevertheless, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com for pre-ordering news!
On a side note, you guys would’ve noticed by now that the OnePlus 5 is a bit lacking in luster and colour. Options of black and light black may not exactly cater to everyone but for no longer! If you were sitting on the fence on acquiring this one due to the lack of colour options, now would be the time to reconsider as a new Mint Gold version may be arriving real soon.
The new colour option has been spotted on a TENAA listing and is hinted heavily on arriving soon. However, soon may not be so soon as the new Mint Gold may take months to be released, just like the Soft Gold version of the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
