After some guesses on the OnePlus 6 official launch online, including the one that might be released on 21 May 2018. The company has just confirmed that 17 May 2018 will be the official launch date and will show up in China first. Time will start at 10 AM on that day so that applies to our local time zone too.
That isn't too far off from now, so while we wait for the live stream, here are the official tech-specs from OnePlus itself so far. We know it will definitely be carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, a 6-inch AMOLED display with the notch on top, its design will also look different compared to the predecessor with a glossy glass body with curved corners, featuring a water-resistant grade (should be at least IP67). That being said, having a glass body also suggests a wireless charging technology which is something we look forward to.
In addition, the rest of the specs are rumoured to be 8GB of RAM, a 128GB and 256GB internal storage variant, a 16MP + 20MP dual rear camera setup and 3450mAh battery package. Are you excited about the OnePlus 6? Stay tuned for the official news at TechNave.com as we will probably be watching the live stream on the day.
