So the OnePlus 6T is out, there were some rumours here and there but it didn't get enough steamrolling since it has only been around six months that the OnePlus 6 was released in Malaysia in June 2018. According to some sources, it seems that the only colour available is Mirror and Midnight Black but its official online store in Lazada has already put the pre-order live and scheduled to arrive on 8 November 2018 starting from RM2588 (6GB + 128GB).

On the pre-order page, those who do so can get a 1-Year extended warranty + combining with another 1-Year warranty for the Malaysian set, which is only eligible for the first 100 customers who purchased the OnePlus 6T local set by Mi Han Sdn Bhd. There's also a RM200 off on the Bullets Earphones (with voucher codes offered there). At the moment, it seems that we are getting all three sets starting with the 6GB + 128GB model for RM2588 (Mirror Black), followed by 8GB + 128GB for RM2888 (Mirror and Midnight Black) and the biggest one with 8GB + 256GB for RM3188 (Midnight Black)

The Screen Unlock also shows an animation upon unlocking

Like any new Android devices nowadays, the OnePlus 6T design doesn't differ much from its competitors and comparing with the OnePlus 6, it has become slightly longer with a waterdrop notch. The fingerprint sensor is no longer on the back as it now features an in-display fingerprint sensor which is promtply called Screen Unlock. It's also noted that the company also removed the 3.5mm headphone jack and the Americans are lucky to get a free USB-C Bullets earpiece as well as a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter inside the packaging.

On the internals, nothing much has changed except that the battery got the biggest upgrade with 3700mAh. That's 400mAh more and not only that, its Dash Charge technology can now go up to 20W too. OnePlus is also late to the party introducing a new Nightscape mode, which is basically specialized to take on night photography and Gaming Mode for the mobile gamers to have uninterrupted gaming time, data allocation, screen brightness lock. Their own gesture system will also be available.
