Last week, we reported that the new OnePlus 8T series was found on GeekBench with the model number KB2001. Today, a member of XDA-Developers for OxygenUpdater has some interesting findings from the teardown of Beta 4 of OxygenOS 11 which is an image of the OnePlus 8T.

According to the image found in the OnePlus Settings app, it ditches the curved display and comes with a flat display that has thinner bezels on the top and bottom part of the screen as well as a single punch hole on the top left corner. As for the back, we don’t have any image on it yet but what we expect is that it might be having a linear quad-camera with a 64MP main shooter.

Besides, it might be sporting a Snapdragon 865 or 865+ chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage running on OxygenOS 11 based on  Android 11. Other than that, we might expect it to be supporting an external micro SD card slot on the OnePlus 8T series and up to 8K video recording. The device should be launching this month following the launch of the OnePlus 7T last year. That’s not just it, because OnePlus might be announcing a new mid-range model soon codenamed “clover’.

Either way, there’s still no official confirmation on the tech specs and release dates for the OnePlus 8T series, so do take this with a pinch of salt.
