The OnePlus 9 Lite is supposed to have similar specs with the OnePlus 8T
If there's one thing that some OnePlus fans may have wanted this year, it would be a lite version of the OnePlus 8 series. Sure, there are OnePlus smartphones that fit the bill, but no direct lite version. However, it would seem that the OnePlus 9 series may just have that.
According to Android Central, OnePlus 9 will launch a total of three models for the OnePlus 9 series: OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Lite. While the first two models will come with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 888 chipset, the OnePlus 9 Lite will be using this year's flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset instead.
Besides that, the OnePlus 9 Lite is expected to be quite similar to the OnePlus 8T. This means that it should have at least 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and 4500mAh battery. It should also have an AMOLED display that supports 90 to 120Hz refresh rate. As for cameras, OnePlus will probably stick with a rear quad-camera setup, but the camera sensors will probably be different.
