OnePlus is prepping for upcoming new smartphones this month and one of which will be the OnePlus 9 RT. We’ve reported it back in August and today, we got a new leak on its tech specs and it might not pack with the latest Android 12 out of the box.
According to Digital Chat Station on his Weibo post, the OnePlus 9 RT will come with the new ColorOS 12 but based on Android 11 instead. Since China version will be on Android 11, we are expecting it to be the same for the global versions too. The reasonable explanation for not getting the Android 12 is because Google will only be rolling out the update in a few weeks’ time after the Pixel 6 launch.
In terms of the tech specs for the OnePlus 9 RT, it will be equipped with an FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole selfie camera at the top left corner, while on the rear will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 4,500mAh battery with support up to 65W fast charging.
As of now, there’s still no official confirmation on the tech specs and release dates for the OnePlus 9 RT yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But we are expecting to get more announcementssoon. Do stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com
