OnePlus 9 Series appears on GeekBench listings with Snapdragon 875 chipset!

In less than 2 months time to the end of 2020, many manufacturers have scheduled and announced the launch of their first flagship phones in the first quarter of 2021 including OnePlus. OnePlus 9 series is rumored to be launching early in March next year and today, it is spotted on GeekBench listings.

According to the listings, the codename “LuBan LE2117” was benchmarked on 13 November and the other benchmark ID is the model number of the OnePlus 9 Pro. It has 8GB of RAM with a codename “lahaina” for its 1.8GHz motherboard and runs on Android 11. The single-core test scores 1122 points while scoring 2733 points for the multi-core test.

An analysis from Weibo reveals the CPU configuration of the processor and expecting it to be the Snapdragon 875 which has four (base) cores clocked at 1.80GHz, three (performance) cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and a prime core clocked at 2.84GHz. With that, the OnePlus 9 series may sport an AMOLED display with high refresh rates of 144Hz for the Pro version and 120Hz for the standard version. It is also reported to support a 65W SuperWarp Charge and 40W of fast wireless charging.

Either way, there is still no official confirmation on the tech specs and release dates of the OnePlus 9 Series, so do take this with a pinch of salt.
