OnePlus 9T might finally come with a competitive camera setup

While the OnePlus 9 series hasn't even arrived, news about the OnePlus 9T has appeared in the wild. The cameras of OnePlus' flagships are never bad, but they are still not on par with the ones on iPhones or Google Pixels. However, things might be changing soon with CEO Pete Lau posted a message on his social media platform.

According to the CEO's post on Weibo, it is mentioned that OnePlus will invest huge resources in cameras and strive to be the world's number one image function. With that said, the OnePlus 9T could come with a competitive camera setup. We are skipping the OnePlus 9 series as it should be launched in just a few months.

For now, it is still unknown if the company will be focusing on hardware or software improvement. If it's hardware, there will be upgrades for the lenses or sensors. Meanwhile, software improvement will be focusing more on image processing and AI optimization.
