OnePlus Ace 2V release: Dimensity 9000 SoC, 120Hz OLED and 80W charging from ~RM1490

OnePlus yesterday released the OnePlus Ace 2V in China, its latest mid-range device and a toned-down variant of the Ace 2. Featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM, read on to find out the full specs and features of the device. 

According to OnePlus China’s official website, the Ace 2V sports a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. It’s a flat panel and supports 10-bit, 1450 nits peak brightness as well as HDR10+.

There’s also a punch-hole cutout at the top centre of the panel which houses a 16MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, at its rear, there’s a 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup. 

Besides that, the Ace 2V has a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging via the USB-C port. Other notable specs include dual SIM, under-display fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, WiFi 6 and colour options of either green or black colour options.

In China, the Ace 2V is available in these storage configurations and prices:

  • 12/256GB - CNY2299 or ~RM1490
  • 16/256GB - CNY2499 or ~RM1619
  • 16/512GB - CNY2799 or ~RM1813

As of the time of writing, OnePlus has yet to reveal whether the device would be available outside of China. However, the Ace 2V is widely expected to be rebranded as the Nord 3 for the global market in July 2023.
