
After weeks of hype, OnePlus today launched the OnePlus Ace 5 Series in China. Comprising the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, read on to learn more about both devices.
First up is the vanilla Ace 5, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a massive 6415mAh cell which supports 80W charging via the USB-C port.

Meanwhile, the display is a 6.78-inch LTPO (1-120Hz) FHD+ AMOLED with 1600 nits peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 16MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. It’s offered in Titanium, Black and Celadon (ceramic finish) colour options and starts at CNY2299 or ~RM1407.
As for the Ace 5 Pro, it shares the same body as the Ace 5 but with more powerful specs. These include the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, a dedicated Fengchi Gaming Core for native 120FPS gaming at 1080p resolution and a 6100mAh silicon carbon battery with 100W charging support.

The display is an 8T LTPO AMOLED with Crystal Shielf Glass that supports 4500 nits local peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and can be used with wet hands. The other specs are the same as the Ace 5, but are offered in Purple, Black or White colour options and start at CNY3399 or ~RM2081.
