After being in the rumour mills for quite some time, OnePlus has announced the release date for the highly-anticipated OnePlus Ace 5 Series in China. Comprising the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, read on to learn more.
Taking to its official Weibo account, OnePlus announced that the series will launch in China on 26 December at 2.30pm local time. Furthermore, the company also revealed key specs of both devices to hype up the release.
The vanilla variant will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Pro variant will be powered by the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Moreover, the company also claimed that while the vanilla variant is sporting the last-gen flagship SoC, the device will be more powerful, as if the chipset is a “Gen 3.5”.
Besides that, both devices will rock new think Si/C battery, which OnePlus dubs “Glacier Battery Technology”. The Pro variant will be offered in White Moon Porcelain (Ceramic Special Edition), Diving Black or Star Dome Purple colour options, while the vanilla will be offered in Black, Titanium and a Ceramic Special Edition.
