For the first time, OnePlus also launched the OnePlus Ace 6 alongside the OnePlus 15 in China. That said, this is not the first time that the Ace 6 is packed with powerful hardware, most notably the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset and others. Here's everything you need to know about the Ace 6.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Tech Specs

Up front, the OnePlus Ace 6 sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED flat display with FHD+ resolution (2800 × 1272) and 10-bit colour depth, delivering over 1.07 billion colours with full DCI-P3 colour coverage. The screen also supports adaptive refresh rates between 60Hz and 165Hz, with 1800 nits peak brightness and a 330Hz touch sampling rate for ultra-responsive gaming.

As one of OnePlus’ latest performance-driven smartphones, the Ace 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset as mentioned, with an octa-core CPU (2 ultra cores + 6 high-performance cores) running at up to 4.32GHz. Combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the Ace 6 guarantees flagship-level speed and responsiveness.

Powering the device is a massive 7800mAh dual-cell battery (2×3900mAh typical), supporting 120W Super Flash Charge and UFCS Fusion Fast Charging, with compatibility for 100W SuperVOOC, 55W PPS, and 18W PD/QC. Meanwhile, the rear dual-camera system features:

  • 50MP main wide-angle sensor (f/1.8, 24mm) with OIS and AF
  • 8MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2, 16mm) with a 112° field of view

The setup supports 4K video at up to 120fps, HDR video recording, and multi-scene capture, while slow-motion can reach 480fps at 720p. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera (f/2.4) supports 1080p recording and AI portrait enhancements.

Smarter Connectivity and Other Features

Connectivity is top-tier with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive and LHDC 5.0, and dual SIM 5G (supporting n1/n3/n5/n8/n77/n78 and more). The device also features USB Type-C (USB 2.0), advanced NFC with OnePlus Pay, and AI Communication Chip R100 for seamless carrier switching and network optimisation.

Security is handled by an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition for quick, secure unlocking. At the same time, sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, colour temperature sensor, IR remote, and environmental light sensors.

Prices and Availability

Like the OnePlus 15, the Ace 6 has a few memory variants as well. The price starts at 2599 Yuan (~RM1.5K) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 16GB + 1TB model is priced at 3899 Yuan (~RM2.3K).

The Ace 6 is indeed an impressive phone, but the series never made it to the Malaysian market, since OnePlus focuses on the Nord series globally as a mid-range option. Still, one can hope. We shall wait and see if OnePlus Malaysia decides to do so. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
