It wasn't that long ago that the OnePlus Ace was released in China but suddenly, there is another new variant called the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. Specs-wise, turns out that this new one is quite different from the standard Ace so let's check out what it offers.

Looking up at the specs, both the standard Ace and Ace Racing Edition have the same MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset as advertised. Other than that, the rest of the specs change up starting with a 6.59-inch LCD supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, as opposed to an AMOLED display. The Ace Racing Edition also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Moreover, the Ace Racing Edition features a triple rear camera consisting of a 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) setup, whereas the 16MP front sensor is hanging out as a punch-hole camera on the top left display. Sporting ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box, you can also find a 5000mAh battery supporting a 67W fast charging technology.

There are three variants of the Ace Racing Edition in total based on different memory configurations:

  • 8GB + 128GB - 1999 Yuan (~RM1301)
  • 8GB + 256GB - 2199 Yuan (~RM1431)
  • 12GB + 256GB - 2499 Yuan (~RM1626)

Would it come to Malaysia? To be honest, we aren't sure since the standard OnePlus Ace is not even here. But what do you think? Would you like the company to import the phone here? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
