OnePlus Monitor X27 and E24 release: 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and QHD resolution at ~RM1501

After being teased by OnePlus, the company has finally released its first-ever gaming monitors, the OnePlus Monitor X27 and OnePlus Monitor E24. The former will be available for purchase in India this 15 December, with OnePlus has yet to reveal availability for the latter. 

According to the official OnePlus India website, the Monitor X27 features a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports 1ms response time, 10-bit colour, 95 per cent DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR 400 certification.

Moreover, the Monitor X27 has AMD FreeSync Premium certified for variable refresh rate support with AMD GPU. If you’re using Nvidia or Intel GPUs, worry not as it should be compatible with both. As for the monitor’s build quality, the Monitor X27 has a metal body and an adjustable metal stand with full tilt, pivot and rotation support. 

Other notable features include multiple picture modes such as movie, picture, web, standard and game (MOBA, FPS, RTS and RPG) as well as split screen mode for connecting two sources for simultaneous viewing. OnePlus also equipped it with an additional USB-C connector with DisplayPort Alt-Mode support and 65W USB-PD.

Moving on to the Monitor E24, it offers less premium specs and should be cheaper than the Monitor X27. As the name would suggest, the monitor features a 24-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 75Hz refresh rate. 

The Monitor E24 supports adaptive sync, a slim 8mm body as well as a metal stand with tilt and rotate adjustment. Moreover, there are also built-in cable management and USB-C connector.

In India, the Monitor X27 is priced at INR27,999 or ~RM1501 and can be purchased starting 15 December 2022. As of the time of writing, OnePlus has yet to reveal the Monitor X27’s availability outside of India as well as the pricing and availability of the Monitor E24.
