
Previously, we revealed that the OnePlus Nord 4 will be launching globally on 16 July, equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and 100W charging. Now, more details have emerged about the device from OnePlus, including its super long software support for a mid-ranger.
OnePlus COO Kinder Liu in an interview with Digital Trends revealed that the upcoming smartphone will get 4 major Android updates. Furthermore, it’ll also get security patches for a whopping 6 years.

Besides that, the report also revealed the Nord 4’s design, which has a 2-tone back that’s very reminiscent of the Google Pixel 3. Liu confirmed that the smartphone has a metal unibody construction.
Another thing confirmed is the Nord 4 passing a test simulating 72 months by TUV SUD that proves the device will remain fluent after such a period as it was on day one.
