A few days ago, news of OnePlus launching a new Nord device came with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification leak. Now, we might already know the device's name, and it's the OnePlus Nord 2 CE. According to the latest information, the upcoming Nord series member would also feature MediaTek Dimensity 900.
Besides the chip, there could also be a 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED panel. Furthermore, 6GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB configurations are expected as well. Under the hood, it could use the same 4,500 mAh as its predecessor, but it would have a higher charging capacity at 65W. Last but not least, the camera setup is mainly the same, with a 64MP primary camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide unit and a 2MP depth sensor.
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE might launch in either January or February 2022. If you're hoping for a different look, the same source mentions that there won't be drastic changes to the appearance. The Nord 2 CE is probably keeping the plastic frame and Gorilla Glass sheets on the front and back.
