OnePlus Nord SE is claimed to be a device that will not see the light of day

Last year, it was rumoured that the OnePlus Nord SE would be launched in 2021 with a different design compared to the rest of the Nord series devices. However, the same source who gave off the tip at the beginning is now saying that the Nord SE will not be happening after all.

According to reputable tipster Max Jambor, the Nord SE has been cancelled for some reason. The device is supposed to be released as a collaboration with an artist named Joshua Vides to inject fresh blood into the series. Earlier, the retail box design had even surfaced hinting at an imminent launch.

As there's no point for us to wait anymore, it is said that the focus should be shifted to the OnePlus Nord 2. The brand has brought the OnePlus 9 series to the market earlier than usual this year so it's suggested that the next Nord successor would be presented early as well. The Nord 2 is expected to be launched in either June or July as an affordable option to some of us who find the brand's flagships pricey.
