As advertised, OnePlus has finally unveiled its new gaming-centric phones, which are the OnePlus Turbo V6 and Turbo 6. For now, they are only exclusive in China. But here's what we know so far about the gaming devices.
The OnePlus Turbo V6
Starting with the OnePlus Turbo V6, it is a mid-range device powered by a Snapdragon 7s chipset on a 4nm process, accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It features a 6.78-inch Crystal Shield glass, with FHD+ resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1800nits peak brightness and 100% DCI P3 colour gamut.
Of course, the standout feature is none other than its 9000mAh battery, making it one of the biggest batteries seen in a OnePlus device. It is supported by an 80W Super Flash Charge and wired reverse charging at up to 27W. Meanwhile, the rear camera system is led by a 50MP main camera with OIS (10x digital zoom), accompanied by a 2MP monochrome sensor and a 16MP front camera.

Running on ColorOS 16 based on Android, the Turbo V6 supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC with eSE, and carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Running on ColorOS 16 based on Android.
The OnePlus Turbo 6
On the other hand, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is powered by Qualcomm’s fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s mobile platform with an octa-core CPU reaching up to 3.2 GHz. It uses faster LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations going up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The Turbo 6 retains the same 6.78-inch flat FHD+ display but pushes refresh rates higher, supporting adaptive switching up to 165Hz. Brightness and colour specifications remain the same as the Turbo V6, with 1800 nits peak brightness, 10-bit colour depth, and full DCI P3 coverage. Despite its performance focus, the Turbo 6 also packs a 9000mAh battery with identical fast charging capabilities, including 80W Super Flash Charge and 27W wired reverse charging.

Moreover, the Turbo 6 uses a similar 50MP main camera setup but with a slightly wider aperture and support for RAW image capture. Digital zoom increases to 20x, and video recording is upgraded to 4K at up to 60 fps with stabilisation. Slow-motion video reaches 240 fps at 1080p, while time-lapse recording is supported in both 4K and 1080p resolutions. The front camera remains a 16-MP unit.
Connectivity is another area where the Turbo 6 pulls ahead. It supports WiFi 7 with 160MHz bandwidth, Bluetooth 6.0 with BLE Audio, and advanced NFC features for payments, transit, and digital keys. Like the Turbo V6, it includes dual stereo speakers, infrared remote functionality, and top-tier IP-rated water and dust resistance. The device runs ColorOS 16 on Android out of the box.
Prices and Availability
At the moment, the Turbo V6 and Turbo 6 are only in China. The former starts at 1899 Yuan (~RM1.1K) for the 8GB + 256GB model, going up to 12GB + 512GB at 2399 Yuan (~RM1.4K). And then the Turbo 6 12GB + 256GB is 2299 Yuan (~RM1.3K), and stopping at 16GB + 512GB for 3099 Yuan (~RM1.8K).
