If you're a tech enthusiast, there's a good chance that you know the YouTube channel, JerryRigEverything. For those who don't, this YouTube channel will test every new phone's durability from scratches to repairability. The OnePlus 10T is one of the latest devices to go through the bend test and this is what OnePlus has to say.

Before we get to that, here's something you should know. Prior to the OnePlus 10T, the OnePlus 10 Pro also got snapped in half relatively easy by the YouTuber which was a rare occurrence. The OnePlus 10T also met the same fate as its sibling, cracked at the rear camera side before breaking in half. That said, the device did pass the scratch test well.

Now, we can imagine that OnePlus wouldn't be too pleased seeing that. So in response to the situation, here's what the spokesperson has to say to Gadgets 360 who reported the news first:

“The OnePlus 10T meets or exceeds all of OnePlus' extensive durability testing procedures, this includes a pressure test where the device is suspended while weight is applied to its centre on both its front and back. The OnePlus 10T has an enhanced structure engineering design and can bear over 45kg of external force in this test at OnePlus' lab,"

"When designing, engineering, and manufacturing OnePlus devices, we ensure they not only offer a design that is beautiful and burdenless but is also durable so they can withstand everyday usage,”

Well, to be fair - most smartphones would get destroyed under extreme conditions like what JerryRigEverything did. If the OnePlus 10T can pass the scratching test with flying colours, that's good enough for me. But what do you think?
